Stripe
Payments infrastructure for the internet

- Checkout, payment links, and subscriptions you control

Stripe is payment infrastructure. Creators and companies use Checkout, Payment Links, and Billing to take cards and run subscriptions, then build the product and the pricing page themselves.
On Stripe’s core products you are usually the merchant. Lemon Squeezy, which Stripe acquired, is the merchant-of-record path. Confirm which product you actually need, and whether Stripe supports your country.
Good to know
- Checkout, Payment Links, and Billing
- Used to take cards and run subscriptions
- Infrastructure, so it fits a site or app you already have
Limits
- Not a storefront, a membership community, or a link-in-bio shop
- Core Stripe products generally leave you as the merchant. Country support varies
