These tools do not share one job, so the ranking says which job each one wins. None of them should be trusted unchecked. A fluent paragraph can still be wrong.

Use ChatGPT as the broad default assistant. Use Claude when the work is careful writing or a long document. Use Perplexity when you want an answer with links you can open. Use Notion when the notes themselves are the product and you want AI inside those pages, not as a separate chatbot.

    Notion holds the docs, wikis, and databases the work lives in. Notion AI helps inside those pages. Rank it last as an assistant because it is not trying to be ChatGPT. Rank it first if the job is “a home for the notes.”
